Avon系列音箱采用Castle传承并重新定义了著名的传输线系统，运用了先进的计算机模拟技术解决内部传输衰减问题，解决了一些长期悬而未决的问题， 从而让高低频尽可能的清晰，并加强了频段延伸能力。
Avon系列音箱对四分之一波长理论创新性的进行拓展，全新的TDTL（双驱动传输线）系统和箱体结构的完美结合。相互隔开的双低音单元以最佳方式驱动传输线路系统。既增加了功效和频带宽度，又能传递强有力的低频。
对于书架式的Avon音箱，Castle的工程师发明了SDEL（单驱动延伸）系统，利用传输线原理在保持原有箱体大小的同时，提供更强劲的低频延伸。当然，低频效果的创新将不会同清晰通透的中音和高音呈现相违背。
Avon系列音箱结合了清晰通透的中音单元和带式高音，提供了最清晰透明的音质，呈现最完美的音质。同时，Castle Avon依然保持着闻名的纯手工实木外观。
Avon的银色拥有着传统的“英国味”，不同于广泛迎合市场的，明快的“新英国声”。它的音色温暖，绵密，速度不疾不徐，却如行云流水般舒畅。线条感并不是“丝丝入扣”，但泛音丰富，回味无穷，仿佛一股暖流流入心间。不用担心有任何的刺耳听感，即使是高音部分也是丝绸般的温暖质感。温暖甜美的质感并不意味着声音会有含糊和粗粝。
Castle heavily invests in its design and is keen to maintain its stature in the international Hi-Fi market through innovative ideas and impeccable craftsmanship. A philosophy of ‘perfect balance of form and function’ is the core motivation for any design engineered by Castle. To exemplify this principle, Castle is proud to introduce the Avon Series, incorporated with Twin Drive Transmission Line technology.
All models are equipped with Hi-Fi ribbon tweeters. Avon 4 features twin Castle 130mm Woven Carbon Fibre cone drivers in a TL tuned to 38Hz, while Avon 5 features twin Castle 150mm Woven Carbon Fibre cone drivers in a TL tuned to 32Hz. In room the Avon 5 achieves a bass extension (-6dB) down to 30Hz making it a truly wideband loudspeaker.
The efficiency of the TDTL technology is evident in the 89dB for 1 watt/8 Ohms sensitivity achieved by these models – an unusually high sensitivity for any Transmission Line speaker and especially commendable for such slimline cabinets.
Avon series does not just focus solely on the TDTL Transmission Line technology. Avon 2, 4 and 5 and the Avon Centre speakers are 3-way speakers utilizing a special 115mm Woven Carbon Fibre midrange unit in its own enclosure with treble output from an advanced HF ribbon.
Both these units provide delicacy and sparkling detail in the way they reproduce musical instruments and voices and, together with the sophisticated acoustic-phase crossovers devised by Castle engineers, exhibit a naturally smooth and balanced sound that perfectly complements the dramatic bass output of these speakers.
And, of course, every Castle Avon speaker is finished in real wood veneers, hand crafted and polished to perfection as only Castle can. Castle Avon – a delight both to eyes and ears.
